Why Most Traders Are Just Pattern Collectors

Patterns feel objective. They offer certainty. They promise repeatability.

But patterns without context are decoration.

A setup that ignores market structure, liquidity, and risk is just a visual coincidence. It may work sometimes. It will fail over time.

Professional traders don’t trade shapes. They trade behavior. Who is trapped. Who is forced to act. Where risk is asymmetric.

If a strategy cannot explain why price should move after entry, it is not a strategy. It is hope with confirmation bias.

Understanding logic beats memorizing setups.
